Easy Handy Man

Privacy statement

Last updated: 12 August 2026

1. Who is responsible?

Easy Handy Man is responsible for the processing described in this statement. For privacy questions or requests, contact bonjour@easyhandyman.be or call +32 (0) 465 79 97 80.

Business address: 100 Cours Saint-Michel, Bruxelles, B 1040, Belgium.

2. What data we receive

When you use the contact form, we may receive your name, email address, phone number, selected service, message, postcode or other details you choose to provide, and optional photos of the work or issue.

Please do not send identity documents, payment-card details, medical information or other sensitive information through the form.

3. Why and on what basis

We use enquiry data to respond to you, assess the requested work, provide an estimate, arrange a visit and communicate about the service. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract and, where a service is agreed, performing that contract.

We may also keep limited records where necessary to comply with a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not use enquiry data for unrelated advertising or sell it.

4. Email, hosting and photos

Messages are sent to our business email provider, Resend, for delivery. Uploaded photos are stored privately with Vercel Blob so they can be handled with your enquiry. We retain photos only as long as reasonably needed to assess and complete the request, and delete contact photos through our regular cleanup process.

These providers process data only on our instructions and under their applicable data-processing terms. Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area with appropriate safeguards where required by GDPR.

5. Retention

We keep enquiry messages and related correspondence only for as long as needed to handle the request, provide the service, meet accounting or legal obligations, and protect our legal position. We periodically delete information that is no longer needed. Exact retention can depend on the nature of the enquiry and any resulting service relationship.

6. Your rights

Subject to GDPR conditions and limits, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or portability of your personal data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

Send a request to bonjour@easyhandyman.be. You also have the right to complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, or via dataprotectionauthority.be.

7. Cookies

This website uses one strictly necessary cookie to remember that you have acknowledged the cookie notice. It does not currently use analytics, advertising cookies or social-media tracking cookies. Because this cookie is necessary for the site preference, it is not used to profile you.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. If we add non-essential cookies in the future, we will request your prior consent and explain their purpose, duration and providers.

8. Changes

We may update this statement when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The latest version will always be published on this page.
